COVID-19 is still threatening, vaccines though are promising, making them accessible to all especially to low-income populations is still a challenge. Time is believed to be the answer however staying locked in cannot be safe for the economics. This is where smart remote technologies come into play reducing the trade-offs. One such approach is utilizing biometrics in airports. Officials understanding the power of biometrics have proposed facial recognition and similar biometrics. This post explains biometrics in a very simple and useful way, especially how it helps improve safety and makes daily systems easier to use. During my online semester, I had so many deadlines and exams together that I even searched for i need someone to take my online exam because the pressure was getting hard to manage. Reading about secure systems like biometrics also reminds me how important trust and identity protection have become in online education today.
